PEAK is a Jeopardy style competition that provides college students the opportunity to test their knowledge of the accounting profession by competing against schools from all over the state of Kentucky – and win great prizes!

• Any school with accounting as a major is eligible to enter a team.
• Only one team per school will be accepted.
• A team will consist of four students and one alternative. One member of each team may have a major other than accounting.
• Team will consist of undergrad or certificate students. (No graduate students allowed for this competition.)
The PEAK Challenge will be held each year in conjunction with the Spring Awards Banquet in April. Challenge questions will be posed in five categories. Four of the categories relate directly to the four sections of the Uniform CPA Exam. The fifth category will include questions regarding the KyCPA Web site and the AICPA Web sites (kycpa.org and aicpa.org).
Your study materials are provided and will be delivered to the team faculty person upon team registration.

2016 PEAK Champions
Bellarmine University became champion at the 2016 PEAK Championship. Promote and Encourage Accounting in Kentucky (PEAK) is a Jeopardy-style quiz show competition that tests participants’ knowledge of the accounting profession, as well as those tough questions that appear on the Uniform CPA Exam. The competition is sponsored and coordinated by KyCPA.
Teams of college and university accounting students from around the state annually compete for a traveling trophy and bragging rights – as well as $1,000 KyCPA Educational Foundation scholarships, which are awarded to each member of the winning team.
