The IRS Liaison Meeting is your opportunity to hear directly from the IRS on issues that affect your practice/business, from examination to collection, to identity theft.
Also, the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service will be available to meet with you one-on-one (these meetings will take place virtually). The Taxpayer Advocate Service is an independent organization within the IRS that protects taxpayer rights and helps resolve problems with the IRS, for free. You can bring your unresolved account issues or hardship cases and the Taxpayer Advocate will help get the issue resolved. You will need to have a valid Power of Attorney on file with the IRS or bring your client’s signed Form 2848.
To reserve a meeting time with a Taxpayer Advocate, please email Shelby Williams at email@example.com by Oct. 21.
Materials are generally available 3 days in advance of an event. Once you have downloaded the manual, we are unable to cancel your registration.
Registration is open through 10/27.
