Overview
                The AICPA Tax Advocacy Team in Washington, D.C., addresses the challenge of keeping up with tax law changes. They advocate for sound tax policy and effective administration. The Washington Tax Brief webcast series keeps members informed on major tax-related initiatives and allows them to voice concerns about potential legislation or regulations. Webcast Series Updates members on AICPA tax advocacy initiatives, proposed tax law changes and reform discussions, recent IRS regulations and guidance changes.

                Previous experience in the development or approval of tax policy, testimony, comment letters and formal positions (on rulings, legislation, Department of the Treasury regulations, notices, determinations, forms, and other regulatory and administrative guidance on taxation matters).
