Brittany McGill promoted to membership director
McGill joined KyCPA in January 2022 as membership coordinator and was promoted to membership director in January 2023. As membership director she implements member recruitment and retention strategies and organizes member outreach initiatives and events. Prior to KyCPA she worked for the YMCA of Greater Louisville more than six years in their membership department. She started out as a front desk employee and spent her last four years there as a membership director working to grow and retain membership. She graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication.
In her free time, she is most likely playing outside with her husky, Millie or spending time with her large family!
Welcome new KyCPA staff
Joseph Ray
Marketing and Design Coordinator
Ray joined KyCPA in August 2022. As the marketing and design coordinator he strengthens the CPA and KyCPA brand by maintaining KyCPA social media sites and developing graphics and producing marketing and communication materials. He attended Bellarmine University, earning a bachelor of arts in communication and history in 2019 and a master of arts in communication in 2020. While attending Bellarmine, he interned as a social media coordinator for the National Kidney Foundation in Kentucky and a special events coordinator for the American Heart Association. Prior to KyCPA, he worked as a sale and marketing coordinator at Education Associates, Inc. and a guest service associate at Norton Healthcare.
Brittany Samuels
Staff Accountant
Samuels joined KyCPA in January 2023. As the staff accountant she is responsible for financial statements and general ledger, accounts payable and receivables, cash flow, budgeting, and is the contact for auditors, insurance and banking. She has more than seven years of experience in corporate accounting, including working in banking and publicly held corporations. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Louisville. Samuels is currently studying for the CPA Exam. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Zoe Sapin
Student Membership Coordinator
Sapin joined KyCPA in August 2022. As the student membership coordinator she implements student member recruitment and retention strategies and organizes student member outreach initiatives and events. Previously Sapin worked at the front desk of a hair salon. She graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in sociology. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her partner and family.
